We’re back baby! After some of the weirdest and hardest weeks, so pleased to report that our office and kitchen are open and ready to serve you. 💁🏾‍♀️👨‍🍳

It was such a joy to gather with last week for their Night of Hope and offer a camp-style meal with a fall apple, pecan & cheddar salad, WNC pork belly "cassoulet," and spiced s'mores cake. What a joy to be buying local food, and serving and employing local people! 🙌🏻

In addition to ongoing food donations to , we are also looking for more opportunities to nourish our community. If you’re aware of additional ways we could help, we’re listening!

And, a reminder that we are fundraising for our team, which has had their hours dramatically reduced during what is typically our busiest season. Please consider leaving a "tip" for our hardworking team via Tony’s Venmo Anthony-Franco-41.

Hurricane Helene has left many in the event and service industries facing an unprecedented loss. October is typically the busiest month for weddings, events, and conferences in Western North Carolina, with many depending on this season to balance their budgets for the entire year and make it through the quiet winter months.

With most events canceled and a return to “normal” far out of sight, our talented staff at Food Experience are facing a significant financial shortfall, along with so many unexpected expenses as they also navigate major personal losses, evacuation, and a need to rest and heal. The “ripple effects” of this disaster will be felt in their bodies, souls, and finances for years to come.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a beautiful wedding in North Carolina—whether it was last month or years ago—please consider leaving a "tip" for our hardworking team. We are fundraising via Tony’s Venmo -Franco-41 (rather than GoFundMe) so that every penny can go directly to our culinary and service staff, helping them get through this tough time.

Thank you for your support. Let’s make sure they’re taken care of like they’ve always taken care of us!
