After doing a trial run of being open on Wednesdays, we’ve decided to return to being closed on Wednesdays moving forward.

Unfortunately, Wednesday business has not been busy enough to justify staying open. This change will also allow us to focus more on our food trailer operations during the week while continuing to provide the best service and quality possible at the restaurant.

We truly appreciate everyone who came out and supported us during the trial period. Thank you for understanding and continuing to support our small business.

Updated Hours of Operation:

• Closed Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday
• Thursday & Friday:
Lunch: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Dinner: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM

Ok guys! If you’ve always been wanting to try one of these food trucks, they are setting up at Adventureland all June long! Save this schedule and come try something new with us! You might see ResQue BBQ, Greek Street Dothan, Grit InmyBelly, P.S. Taco Company - Dothan, Big Back Energy , or Bistro eats Dothan! We have a large picnic area available for you to sit back and enjoy! I can’t wait to try all of these fun foods!

Due to the current surge in cattle and beef prices, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend brisket sales.

At ResQue BBQ, we only serve Certified Angus Beef Prime brisket because we refuse to compromise on quality. Right now, our brisket cost alone is sitting at $5.89 per pound before trimming, seasoning, labor, wood, and the 18+ hours it takes to properly smoke each brisket.

By the time the process is complete, we would have to charge close to $40 per plate just to make a reasonable profit — and we simply don’t feel that’s fair to our customers.

This is only temporary, and we look forward to bringing brisket back as soon as prices stabilize. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support of local BBQ.

Over the past several weeks, I’ve spent a lot of time in prayer, and I truly feel God leading me to use what He has blessed me with to bring honor and glory to His kingdom.

Instead of running from that calling like Jonah, I’ve decided to step out in faith and be obedient to what I believe God is asking me to do.

Starting Thursday, May 21st at 6:00 PM CST, we’ll be gathering every Thursday at ResQue BBQ for “Smoke & Scriptures” — a men’s Bible study focused on growing stronger in our relationship with God and becoming the men He has called us to be.

This is not about religion, perfection, or having all the answers. It’s about real men, real conversations, real faith, and real growth.

Food is not included, and there’s absolutely no need to purchase anything. Just come as you are and grow with us.
