What a week here in Astoria! ❤️

First, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who dined with us last week! The turnout was incredible, and seeing so many familiar faces is truly the best part of what we do.

We also had a total blast at the Astoria Premiere of The Cycle at the Liberty Theatre! The theater was packed, and celebrating a film made right here in town—one we had the honor of catering for back in 2024—was pure magic. 🎬🍿

Now, we’re gearing up for our final 4 days of Modern Pho before packing up our bowls until the New Year! Since Nekst is just the two of us, we will be closed while Chef Holen heads back to Cambodia on November 1st for an exciting project with our friends at SPOONS Cambodia Organization Cambodia. That makes this week your last chance for pho until 2027! (At least, we think so! 🤔)

The The Cycle premieres tonight in Astoria at Liberty Theatre Astoria !!!

We had the most incredible opportunity to cater and provide craft services for this talented and amazing crew and cast!!!

Thank you Jordan Downey , Kevin Stewart and Michael Downey for inviting us be part of this production!!

So much talent and artistry!! Can’t wait to see the final cut tonight in Astoria!!

We took your poll responses, read all your fun feedback, and built custom menus for Thursday and Friday based directly on what you voted for!

Here’s a quick peek at what Chef Chris is cooking up this week:
✨ Thursday, Oct 8: Pan Seared Pacific Lingcod with roasted fennel mashed Yukons, blistered cherry tomatoes, capers, and arugula

✨ Friday, Oct 9: Pan Seared Rockfish with shiitake mushrooms, fingerling potatoes, pickled radish, and scallion puree

✨ Starters Both Days: Coffee crusted albacore & grilled watermelon + scallion and salt cod pancakes
