There’s something special that happens at McGrath’s.
A first-time guest arrives a little unsure, wondering what this place is all about. By Sunday, they leave understanding that McGrath’s is more than a motel or a pub—it’s a family.
They come back the next year… and the next. Sometimes they return every other weekend. They see the early mornings, the late nights, the hard work, and the heart that goes into keeping this place going.
Then one day, without hesitation, they’re asked to lend a hand.
And they do.
That’s the moment they stop being guests and become family.
We’re blessed to say our family has grown over the years, and it continues to grow with every person who finds their way to McGrath’s.
Raise your hand if you’ve ever answered the call. 🙋♀️🙋♂️ Whether you poured a beer, cleared a table, parked a car, washed dishes, carried a case of supplies, comforted a stranger, or simply stepped in when we needed you—you became part of our story.
Thank you, family.
FYI - Seamus Balfe - it first started when he came in for breakfast. He hasn’t left since
