Breakfast/diner server:
Part-time
And
Weekend host.
Hiring either one person for both spots or 2 persons.

Requirements:
You must have both an Oregon Food Handler Card and
OREGON liquor Server Certification.
You Must
Be a morning person! If you wake up groggy at 3pm, this will likely not be for you.

If you call-out regularly, this is not for you. We have a small crew and you really need to be here when you say you will be. We will count on you and in turn, you can count on us.

Servers:
You must be able to stand on your feet for multiple hours, bend and lift heavy dishes, walk at varying speeds, have ability to multi-task like a champ. You will be taking orders, running food, making drinks, refilling coffees, chatting with customers and helping out co-workers. You will be cleaning before customers arrive, bussing tables and cleaning up after customers. You will be stocking, rolling silverware and sweeping floors, cashing customers out and validating lottery tickets.

Our customers range from little kids to 100 year old regulars and everyone in between. You will go home smelling like pancakes.

Server Shifts:
FRI10-3:30
MON10-3:30
TUES 10-3:30

Host:
Saturday/Sunday mornings
$20 Hourly plus tips
Must be able to stand, walk, greet customers with a smile, bus tables, clean tables, communicate with servers and kitchen. Professional appearance required. Olcc and Food Handler cards required.
Ideal part-time gig for an extroverted, healthy retiree.

Labor Temple is looking for a reliable Breakfast Cook to join our crew at the historic Astoria Labor Temple Diner. Be a part of something special. This place is more than just another restaurant, it is a special place in the hearts and history of the community where folks have been gathering over coffee and eggs for 100 years.
$20hr to start while training. (Increased hourly happens fast with excellent performance.)
Servers tip the kitchen based on food sales( and we sell a lot of food).
Sign on bonus after 60 days.
Loyalty bonus every September.
Sick leave.
Oregon Saves optional retirement plan.

Weekends are, of course, our busiest days so we need you those days. Need more? If you have the skills and attitude, we will get you more.

Only available weekends? Okay! We can work with that, too.
