Just a quick heads-up for our amazing customers!
Abe’s Pizza will be CLOSED:
🇺🇸 Saturday, July 4 – Independence Day
🇺🇸 Sunday, July 5
🍕 Monday, July 6 – Our regular day off

We will reopen with our normal business hours on Tuesday, July 7.

As we take a short break to spend time with family and friends, we’d like to thank each and every one of you for your continued support of our small local business. Your loyalty truly means the world to us, and we appreciate every order, every visit, and every recommendation.

We hope you all have a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day weekend! 🇺🇸🎆

🍕 Yesterday someone said something in the shop that I can’t stop thinking about…

They said:
“After 9:00 PM, most people around here are done ordering takeout.”

Someone else immediately smiled and replied:
“I don’t know… I think people are still hungry, they just don’t have many options.”

Now I’m curious…

This Father’s Day, we’ll be taking the day to spend time with our families.

Abe’s Pizza will be closed on Sunday, June 21st so our team can celebrate the dads, grandfathers, and father figures who mean so much to us.

We appreciate your understanding and hope everyone has a wonderful Father’s Day surrounded by family, good food, and great memories.

Still putting the finishing touches on it.

That was the first thing somebody said when this pizza came out of the oven!
A few seconds later somebody else walked by.
Same reaction.
At some point it turned into a discussion.
Now I’m curious…

Lunch for dinner too — we’ve noticed that.
Been hearing it more than before.
Someone comes in for slices or a sub.
Then asks about adding a side salad.
Tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots.
All added when it’s ordered.
Nothing sitting pre-made.
Just been coming up more often lately.
Or is that just how lunch for dinner has been going lately?

Heard that again today.

Standing right under the menu screens.

Lunch slices. 11 to 3.

Menu screens.

Chalkboard.

Back to the menu screen.

Back up again.

Just standing there a second too long deciding lunch.
Then the counter.
Two slices. Coke.
That was it.
Or is that just how 11 to 3 goes?

“What’s for dinner?”

Feels like that question gets asked way earlier on Sundays than it used to.

Some people already did the grocery store run.

Some are still thinking about it.

Either way it turns into the same thing.

Cooking.

Cleaning.

Everything that comes with it.

Then somewhere in the middle of it, the same thought usually comes up:

“we probably should’ve just ordered something”

Same story every week.

Or is that just Sundays for everyone else too?

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸
To all who have served, and especially to the families carrying the weight of loss — we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As we spend time with family, friends, and loved ones this weekend, let’s remember the true meaning behind Memorial Day and the heroes who made our freedom possible.
