MALUMZ ON DECKS STAR IDENTIFIED AS VICTIM IN BLUE VALLEY DOUBLE MURDER

Oscar Nyathi (28), popularly known as Oscar Baxx of the music duo Malumz on Decks, has been identified as one of two victims killed in a deadly shooting outside Blue Valley Golf & Country Estate in Midrand, Johannesburg.

According to police, four people were travelling in a Toyota vehicle when two suspects arrived on motorbikes, allegedly dismounted and opened fire on the occupants before fleeing the scene.

The driver and front passenger were declared dead at the scene. Two other occupants sustained injuries and were transported to hospital for treatment.

Police have opened two counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder. The motive for the attack remains unknown and investigations are ongoing.
