Our Bourbon & Burgers series continues Thursday, November 12 with Barrell Craft Spirits, the blenders who’ve spent more than a decade turning other people’s barrels into award-winning, cask-strength wh***eys. Melena Elliott will lead a tasting that runs from Batch 29 through the Decade 20 Year, with the Cigar Blend and Toasted Dovetail in between. We’ll start the night with a Seagrass Rye Old Fashioned.
Chef Chris Hall is pairing it all with a burger he’s making for this night and only this night, so don’t expect to find it on the menu after.

Let’s be honest about holiday gifts. The candle gets regifted, the socks get lost in the dryer, and that “fun” kitchen gadget goes in a drawer until spring cleaning. Nobody has ever said “remember that scented candle you got me in 2019?” with tears in their eyes.

Per my last casserole, lunch is handled.

This November, skip the reply-all debate about who’s bringing what. Feed The Office covers the whole spread: sliced roasted turkey breast, whipped potatoes, green bean casserole with crispy onions, cornbread dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce, and a warm apple cobbler to round things out. Serves ten, needs zero prep, and is the only meeting this month everyone will show up early for.

A few days before Día de los Mu***os, we’re setting a table for 24 of the best women you know. Amigas & Agave is a one-night tequila dinner in the Bushwood featuring five Herradura barrel selections picked by our team, three of which are brand new. You’ll start the night tasting single-barrel Double Reposado and end it eating chocoflan. Everything in between is family-style: aguachile, quesadillas, cochinita pibil, and smoked brisket chochoyotes. Bring your best friend, your sister, or the coworker you actually like. The reception is Thursday, October 29 at 6:30 PM, and dinner follows at 7. Tickets are limited, and the link is in our bio. 🌼
