With a very heavy heart I have to let everyone know that today is the last day the Dixie Maid will be open. The economy is very bad and only getting worse. I can not compete with big business. The small family owned business is a thing of the past which is very sad. My heart will always be there and my memories of all the customers and employees will remain forever. The price of utilities and groceries is high on everyone including small busines. I would like to thank all of our loyal customers for their support. It has meant the world to me and my family. Thanks for the memories.

Finally have found someone that could fix the icecream machine. It's working like a champ. Milkshakes are just $1.00 come get one.

Hello everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know The Dixie Maid is still going strong and my family and I are still the owners. We did think we had it sold to a man who I thought was a great person. I was wrong. The Lord alway knows whats best and He wants me there. I am working full time at Anytime Fitness and loving it as well. I am changing my health and life for myself and trying to help others do the same. But my heart will always be at the Dixie Maid. All the rumors going around are just not true. That kind of stuff is very damaging to businesses and people. The economy is bad enough without adding stuff like that. I appreciate all the support the Dixie Maid has had all these years and hope that it continues. Have a great day and dont forget to order your holidays. We are doing them as always. I will continue to serve the best food I can. Also come by and try our homemade soup it is awesome.
