We started at the Peachtree Farmer’s market and now have a coffee bar with a dog-friendly patio. Legend says that in the remote highlands of Ethiopia, a 9th century goatherder watched his goats eat small, red fruits from a nearby shrub. Then, surprisingly, the animals danced. Curious, he tried the fruit himself, and, at that moment, he discovered the wonders of coffee. The delicious bean that put an extra dance in your step. Named after that first amazing discovery, Dancing Goats® was founded in 1988 with the goal of bringing the best coffee to their customers. Soon after, Dancing Goats® expanded from just a single coffee shop to a wholesale roaster and coffeehouse. Then the coffee bars spread to more locations on the two edges of the country. Our company has continued to grow. We have an increasing online service, shipping coffee to satisfied customers across the country. Coffee shops all over the world serve our rotating coffee varieties. A neighborhood coffee bar brings people together for relaxation and conversation. In Buckhead, that coffee bar is Dancing Goats®, the only stand-alone specialty coffee bar around for miles. Before building our coffeeshop, we also invested in the community by being part of the Peachtree Farmer's Market. When the Market was open, so were we, providing delicious drinks and food treats to the many people who came walking through the shops. Now, we have a coffee bar that easily holds meetups among friends, a large workspace for business meetings, and a dog-friendly patio.
