JUNE 21ST, we raise a glass and a memory for Joe Douglas 🥂, Pioneer of Founder of BACKSTAGE ATLANTA & THE JDE FAMILY

A young pioneer from Huntsville who broke through barriers with vision, hustle, and pure Southern soul, Joe Douglas helped carve a lane in the entertainment world that connected generations of culture, music, nightlife, and community. From sharing spaces alongside legends like Maze featuring Frankie Beverly to contributing to unforgettable moments around live entertainment, and iconic musical talent, his influence stretched far beyond the city lights of Atlanta.

Backstage Atlanta was never just a venue. It was a pulse. A gathering place. A dream built by a man who believed celebration could bring people together like a timeless song echoing through the speakers at 2AM.

This birthday, we don’t mourn the legacy… we celebrate it.
