It all started with a firehouse meal that involved raw pork chops and potatoes. Started cooking in the firehouse as much as possible. Trying all different kinds of recipes, from experimenting with my own, to taken other recipes from fellow fire fighters around the firehouses, and fell in love with cooking. Then, in the summer of 2013 the backyard barbecuing started with an electric smoker. From th

ere it went to buying two offset smokers and cooking every weekend for the firehouse and friends. Came up with our own rubs and sauces made from scratch. By the end of the summer we signed up for the local Atlantic City BBQ competition. Over that winter we built the trailer we have today with the reverse flow smoker, event grill, and two working stations on it. In the beginning of the summer of 2014 we jumped right back into the competition scene. Going to Delaware in the month of April, then to Maryland in May. We improved every competition we competed in. After realizing that the next comp. we'd be competing in was not til October we decided to give the catering scene a go. It has done nothing but taken off from there, and we love it!

Looking forward to another great Summer! We will open this season Sunday May 29th at the Log Cabin in Margate! Every Sunday through-out the season!
June 11th we will bring BBQ to the Bay at Wonderbar for a country music BBQ block party! Can't wait to see everyone!
