Hi everyone, Tara here! I know this is a long post, but please read the whole thing for both hospital AND downtown information!
As many of you have noticed (and maybe you have even been nice enough to listen to me whine for a few minutes) my health has taken some interesting turns this year, but especially over the last few months. Between some of the more personal and "invisible" issues I've been battling, my physical health and now, apparently, my immune health - I am just not doing great overall. I wish I could tell you all exactly what is going on, but the truth is we still don't really know. However, it's becoming obvious that, while luckily nothing is life threatening, my health is on a bit of a weird decline and it has taken a serious toll on me.
It breaks my heart to do this, but at this point I have really no choice but to not only close hospital location, but step back from Sweet Joy entirely. I have made so many amazing memories and lifelong friendships in the last 6 years! I want you all to know how much I love, appreciate, and treasure each and every one of you!
I will be moving on to focusing on crafting full time - you all know how much I love and have missed this part of my life and I admit, as sad as I am to leave Sweet Joy, I am incredibly excited to finally have the opportunity and time to dedicate to this passion! I hope you will all continue to support me through this avenue whether it be through retail (which will still be available at Sweet Joy!) or custom orders! ❤️ If you feel so inclined or you haven't already, please like my page Tara's Treasures and join my group for tons of updates and even Facebook lives again!
* My final day open at the hospital is October 14th
* To make things a little easier on me for the next 2 weeks, I will continue opening at 8am
* Gift certificates not used by the 14th can still be used downtown!
Now on to the exciting, good news I know you have all been waiting for! Downtown's TENTATIVE date to reopen is November 1st! Hours will be changing, downtown will now be open for brunch through dinner with a great, updated menu! They have been working very hard giving everything a nice fresh facelift! I can't wait for you all to see it, and I know all of you can't wait either! Keep checking back on the page for more exciting updates and details as we get closer!
