THE MINIONS ARE COMING! THE MINIONS ARE COMING! Calling all young chalk artists! Help us welcome all Minion fans to the Augusta Historic Theatre this weekend. Starting Thursday, July 16, bring yourself armed with sidewalk chalk to the sidewalks in front of the Theatre, M & J's Coffeehouse - Premium Blend Coffee and The Antique Forum. Create your favorite minion character to share with our movie-goers. This is NOT a contest, just fun summer activity. Please be mindful of pedestrians and customers and do not block the doorways. HAVE FUN! Don't forget to sign your artwork!!!

Our community is always willing to help out when needed and it will soon be time to send the kids back to school. Bright Futures Augusta with the help of the community tries to help with the needs of the children of the Augusta area. Partnering with Walmart Augusta - 7th Ave, they are here to help fill backpacks so kids can go back to school ready to learn with the supplies they need.

The next time you are at the register you will see a white basket filled with items that each student will need to start the school year. If you are able, would you be willing to add one item to your shopping trip to help fill a back pack. Every item matters in the eyes of a child and their education. Thank you to Bright Futures for everything you do for the students of the community!

Downtown Red Brick District Notice! This Saturday, July 4th, the Celebrate America Parade will result in a street closure on State Street. Barricades are scheduled to be up 8:30am, lineup begins at 9am and parade begins at 10am! We ask vehicles be moved before the barricades are put in place. We thank you in advance!

Hooray! I will be back open on Monday.

On Friday, in the afternoon I lost my big refrigerator in the kitchen and everything I had in it. So after buying a new fridge on Saturday, switching them out, getting it chilled to temp. Today going and buying some of my supplies needed I will be open Monday. I will not have my breakfast casserole nor will I have any lunch. I plan to be back 💯 by Friday.

I would like to give a big shoutout to Brandon Hopkins aka my other half for all of his wonderful help this weekend and all of his support.

Thank you everyone for your understanding. I apologize again for having to be closed yesterday.
