EVERY THURSDAY is "Bike Night", sponsored by Tramontin Harley-Davidson, where hundreds and hundreds of motorcycles meet up at the Chatterbox to eat and hang out. A DJ plays music throughout the premises and the theme of the restaurant changes a little...the DJ plays a lot of Southern Rock, classic hits like "Born to be Wild," country music, and recent h

its. EVERY SECOND FRIDAY is "Corvette Night" where Vettes from all areas and all years come together to eat great food and to celebrate their heritage and lineage together as DJ Doc South spins the records. EVERY SATURDAY is "Cruise Night" where classic cars and hot rods fill the parking lot and everyone shows off their vehicles. DJ Doc South spins old records all night long and everyone has a great time. On "Bike Nights" and "Cruise Nights," a favorite bike or car is picked out each week and a trophy is awarded! Also, don't be afraid that it will be too busy inside the restaurant because the Chatterbox has it's own pager system that alerts you when your table is ready, so if there's a wait, you won't even notice because you'll be outside enjoying the bikes or cars! If you're just having too much fun outside, enjoy a hotdog, burger, or an ice cream from our outdoor service area.

CHATTERBOX MEMORABILIA SALE. This message is STRICTLY for those people who have already given us a note with their name and phone number on it over the last few months. You and you alone are invited to The Chatterbox Memorabilia Sale on Saturday, September 22nd. You will check in with your name and phone number. Please do not show up if you have not previously given us your name and number. The list is already complete, and no more names will be added. This is first come, first serve. You will be limited to 2 items per household. Unfortunately, due to the incredibly high desire for all of these items, the chances of you getting the item that you actually put your note in for, is slim. Some movie posters had almost 100 requests, for just one poster. We will start checking people in at 8AM, and the sale is from 9AM-2PM. Cash only. Please do not call the restaurant or message us on Facebook. We will not be returning any messages. Thanks!

WE WILL BE OPENING AT 1PM TODAY, Friday Aug 31.
Hello Customers,
Well, we have been blessed with a ton of people that want to come in for "One Last Time" here at The Chatterbox! Our problem is that we are so short handed in the kitchen that we only have time and staff enough just to cook the orders that are coming in.
We have not been able to get any kind of prep work done, which we need to do in order to actually cook the items! It is the law of diminishing returns at its fullest! If we can't prep, we can't cook!
So I made the very unpopular but very much needed decision to open a little later today, so that we can get a little caught up, so that we can actually cook!
You may ask, "Why don't you just come in a little earlier and get prep done?" Well, the answer is simple. The already short staffed kitchen is working with an additional 2 people out, all on top of over 100 degree days back there. The cooks come in at 10AM, and don't leave until 10PM, and there is no time for breaks in between. I don't have the heart to ask anyone to add to that total.
I hope you can see my dilemma here, and if you were planning on coming in first thing today, I hope you are able to come in later today, or another time before we close Monday evening. Thanks for your understanding.

NEW SUMMER HOURS.
The Chatterbox will be closed on Tuesdays through the summer. We are doing this to give our incredibly hard working kitchen crew, a much needed day off. Unfortunately, we are working with a skeleton crew, and they are ALL needed, all day, EVERY day. The only way to keep our service level high, and at the same time, not wear out our kitchen employees, is to close for one day/week. Thanks for understanding!! =)
