Last Pit report for 10 days...

After tomorrow night at 8p we will be closed until August 5th. We are doing some maintenance and cleaning while we are closed. We are looking forward to this break to regroup and come back even stronger than we are now.

We will re-open August 5th at 11am.. We will have new hours and days of operation. We will be open Wednesday - Saturday 11am-8pm beginning August 5th. We also will no longer be offering breakfast beginning the 5th.

We appreciate each and every one of you and the support you have shown us! Without you there is no us!

Beginning today at 4pm we will have a variety of offerings. We will have Prime Rib, Smoked Ribeyes, Sausages, Pulled Pork, Ribs, Smoked Turkey Breast, Smoked 1/2 Chickens, Smoked Chicken, Brisket and our regular every day menu items. There are limited amounts available of these items

Come visit us before you head out to the fair and enjoy an awesome meal!

PSA...I have a bulletin board for public events in my restaurant that you are welcome to post posters and flyers on. Any political propaganda that is placed on them will be taken down...like the ones put up there today. They are in the trash.

IT'S WING WEDNESDAY!

Comin' at ya from the Pit this morning! Rich forgot to mention we will also have brisket this weekend. It's gonna be a mash up of a weekend with several different specials!

Tonight is the pageant at the Hancock County Fair. Come support our own little barbecue queen.. Miss Hadley Phillips. Rich and Alex are proud adopted pageant Dad's and rehearsed Miss Hadley's dance with her until she perfected it. (I only wish I had gotten it on camera)They can't wait to watch her tonight.
