I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped us support Protect 4 Paws these last two months. It truly meant the world to me!! 🥹🩷

During August and September, every drink you ordered, every bit of change in our doggy coin eater, and every cash donation at the window came together to raise $140 for the shelter. I’m still amazed that something this big came from our little trailer and the people who love it.

This past weekend I used that money to shop their wish list and delivered everything in person: two 45 lb boxes of kitty litter, two 12-packs of canned cat food, a 6-pack of canned dog food, cat treats, over 20 toys, silicone can lids, two cozy blankets, disinfecting wipes, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and pet stain and odor remover. I got a little choked up handing it over, knowing every item was there because of you.

To everyone who donated in person, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Skye brought canned cat food and litter, Kaitie brought dog harnesses, Babette brought canned food, and a sweet girl brought a big tub of litter (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!). Two kind ladies also left cash at the trailer, $5 and $20.

Trouble, Marcus, and Theodore all found their families, and Theodore goes home October 30th. I couldn’t be happier for them. Little Girl and Lola are still waiting for theirs. If you’d like to meet them, call Protect 4 Paws at 859-781-0551.

Agnes and the Protect 4 Paws team, thank you for welcoming me and letting me meet the animals. It was an honor, and I’d love to do this again next year!

And to everyone who has stopped by for a drink, you’re the reason we get to do this. Charlie and I are so thankful for you!! 🩷🩷🩷

Back at Gillman Home Center this week! ☕🐾

First, thank you all so much for such an incredible start to October; we’ve already raised $65 for StrayHaven through drink sales alone! As a quick reminder, 2% of every order goes straight into a fund we use at the end of the month to buy items right off their wishlist.

We’re also still collecting physical donations at the trailer every day we’re open! If you’re dropping anything off this week, Stray Haven is especially in need of blankets, bedding, canned dog and cat food, toys, and cleaning supplies (or really any pet essentials you want to pass along).

Here’s where you can find us at Gillman Home Center this week:

Tuesday (10/13): 8am - 11am
Friday (10/16): 8am - 12pm
Saturday (10/17): 9am - 1pm

Can’t wait to see everyone! ❤️

I’m sitting here tonight completely overwhelmed and honestly tearing up looking at this photo.

When I started The Daily Charlie three months ago, I had two big dreams: serve really good, high-quality coffee, and give back to animals. I’ve loved pets my entire life, and naming this business after Charlie (my soulmate dog and my best friend) was my way of spreading the love he gives me every single day.

Starting a small business is hard and slow, but today at Gillman’s was something I will never forget. Not only was it our best day yet, but our incredible community showed up in a way that left me completely speechless.

We had a record number of people drop off physical donations for StrayHaven; roughly $300 worth of food, toys, blankets, litter, peanut butter, and supplies!

Look at this pile: crates of canned food, bags of treats, kitty litter, cleaning supplies, puppy pads, and even a special box of gifts brought in specifically for a foster dog named Spaz!!

A special shoutout to Skye for bringing in a massive bin of cozy blankets and toys, and to Stephanie and Suzanne for stopping by with canned food and treats! To everyone else who brought in donations today; things were moving so fast that I didn’t get a chance to catch all of your names, but please know how much your generosity means to me and to these animals.

On top of that, 2% of every single drink sold today goes straight to Stray Haven as our shelter of the month.

Seeing this mission come to life and watching our community rally together to make a real difference for local shelter animals... there are no words. I am just so, so grateful. Thank you to everyone who came out, ordered a drink, dropped off a donation, or left a sweet review today. You are helping us change lives. ♥️🥹

We raised $140 for Protect 4 Paws, and it is all thanks to your support! 🥹

Protect 4 Paws holds such a special place in our hearts. From August through September, we had the privilege of featuring two groups of sweet animals to help get them extra exposure: Little Girl and Trouble in August, followed by Marcus, Lola, and Theodore in September.

The absolute best news? Trouble was adopted a few days ago! We could not be more thrilled for him! 😭🎉

None of this would be possible without everyone who stopped by the trailer, bought our featured drinks, and helped spread the word about our mission.

We also want to send a huge thank you to the sweet ladies who brought physical donations directly to the trailer; we received kitty litter, cat food, dog harnesses, and so many other thoughtful items!

We are heading out this week with the $140 raised to buy items directly off Protect 4 Paws' wishlist, and we will post updated photos as soon as we drop everything off at the shelter.

Thank you all again for supporting us and giving us the opportunity to make a difference for these sweet animals! ☕️❤️

Fresh menu update! 📰☕️ ⠀

With fall officially here, we’re saying goodbye to lemonade until next spring and hello to FRAPPES! 🎉

We just added them to the menu yesterday and they are delicious! Every frappe includes 1 flavor of your choice plus whipped cream ($8). Need something caffeine-free? We can make them coffee-free for just $7! ⠀

A little bit about us & our mission: 🐾

Everything on our menu is inspired by Charlie and the things he loves; like Mr. Lizard (his absolute favorite toy) and August 15th (his birthday!). We’re passionate about serving you the highest quality drinks, which is why we use local whole milk, small batch specialty beans and organic ingredients whenever possible. ⠀

Giving back is at the core of what we do. A percentage of EVERY single purchase made at the trailer goes directly to our Shelter of the Month, which changes monthly so we can support as many animals as possible across the tri-state area!

Follow us to see where we’ll be next! We can’t wait to serve you 😋

Meet our October Shelter Collab: StrayHaven! 🐾⠀

We’re so excited to team up with Stray Haven this month! Based right here in Aurora, they work tirelessly to rescue homeless pets and support independent rescuers in areas without county shelters. To help support their mission, a portion of every drink sold in October goes directly to funding their life-saving work!

Check out this month’s lineup: ⠀

THE JUNO ($8.00) – Pumpkin spice latte with brown sugar & maple, topped with vanilla whip, pumpkin drizzle & spice.

THE KENNY ($8.00) – S'mores latte with chocolate, brown sugar & cinnamon, topped with toasted marshmallow foam, toasted marshmallows & graham crumbs. ⠀

THE KATY ROO ($8.00) – Dirty chai with espresso, hazelnut, raw honey & a sprinkle of nutmeg. ⠀

Grab your favorite fall treat and help us make an impact for Stray Haven all month long! 🍂🐶
