Meet Bear! Our May 2026 Crown Canine of the Month!

Bear is a 17 month old Anatolian Shepherd, Great Pyranees mix. Bear could push 200 lbs when full grown!

He was one of many in the litter. Joseph, Bear's human companion, let the pups play with his daughter and Bear was the most well behaved of them all and stayed with her when all the others went to find fun elsewhere. And that's how it came to be!!

Bear loves tuna and Crown Doggie Bacon! Not a big fan of chasing balls, but loves a good rope to play with as well as any stuffed animal that can have the stuffing removed little by little.

Our favorite story about Bear is how little children enjoy crawling under Bear's legs,....like a conga line of kids all taking their turn!! Bear stands there and let's the kids have their fun, gotta think Bear is enjoying it quite a bit too!

Raise your glasses and cheers to our friends Bear and Joseph. Another wonderful Crown Canine that we are proud to know!!

Still a few hours on the clock to come get that St. Patrick’s Pint! But it’s always a good time to thank y’all for making today a success. We’re not sure the number yet,but we raised a lot of funds for the Austin Humane Society today, helping the dogs and cats of Central Texas. Thank you again Austin. For helping us keep the lights on, for being our friends, for being our neighbors, and just being outright cool people. Austin, you’re the best. Don’t be a stranger. We’ll see you tomorrow.
