I guess we need to make it clear as others continue to share a different narrative. Johnny's Skillet was forced to close due to the greed of a former employee and the building's owners. We had legal rights to the business and the lease. We were given a notice by the building owner that he was terminating our lease and taking over management of our business! 2 days after this notice was given, which forced us to abruptly close. We had an attorney and it was agreed upon that our lease would continue. Then, the new building owner tried to illegally evict us. We spent a lot of time and money fighting this specifically for our dad. This former employee is trying to promote a business on the backs of us. This person is telling a narrative that is simply not the truth. Our dad was in the process of retiring and finding a new owner to buy the business, all of the people involved were aware of this as well. We wanted to keep Johnny's operating, possibly passing to a new owner but the greed of certain people who found an opportunity with our dad's death to use for their own gain.
We have proof of all this with court documents, recordings, emails etc.
