Our espresso machine stopped working this past week. I was finally able to get a technician from Houston to assess; the news wasn't good, but it will be fixed. Apparently, a very large electrical surge fried the fuse box and fused it to the inside of the machine. He had to take it to Houston to make necessary repairs. Now, electricians from TFC have to fix and/or replace the receptacle and circuit breaker in the panel. Hopefully, Monday or Tuesday, we will be back in business. I just wanted to give you all an update and provide some details so that you are aware we were trying to get this replaced and fixed as quickly as possible. I apologize for the inconvenience. I know the importance of a great cup of coffee many times a day. 😁

Today for lunch, we have our version of a Muffaletta Sandwich. We start with our Black Forrest Ham, Provolone Cheese, Salami, Mozzarella Cheese, Mortadella and a Pickled Olive & Veggie Salad all layered on a Rosemary Focaccia Bread toasted in the oven with some Pepperoncini Peppers on the side if you want to add them to your sandwich.
