Who better to show us how the El Jefe is made than the creator himself? 🥪👨‍🍳

We brought Michael into the kitchen to build his Great Sandwich Search-winning creation from start to finish! Watch the magic happen, then get ready to try it for yourself when El Jefe hits our menu on November 2!

10/29/2026

If you're overdue for your Jason's Deli favorites, consider this your official reminder to fix that. 👀

Meet Michael, the mastermind behind the El Jefe! 🥪🏆

Our Great Sandwich Search took us to the Rio Grande Valley, where we got to meet the creator of our winning sandwich and celebrate his creation!

The best part? The El Jefe is officially hitting Jason’s Deli menus on November 2, so you can finally get a taste of the sandwich that won it all. Mark your calendars! 🎉
