Cartel Roasting Co. is proud to introduce our new bags and the next chapter of our brand!
This has been an incredible year-long project with Jonny Ashcroft , working to capture everything Cartel has been in the Southwest since 2008, who we are today, and how we want to grow.
Every detail has a story.
Drawing on southwest inspiration and elements of our early designs, the + sign is a symbol of the four directions: north, south, east, and west. Our color palette brings back some of our favorite hues inspired by the Arizona sunrise.
The Papago Mountain Range, illustrated on our bags and pictured here, is the landscape we get to see every day from our roasting facility in Tempe. And the palm trees? A nod to our Arizona and Southern California roots, where mountain and palm tree silhouettes are part of the landscape we call home.
We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and even more excited about where we’re headed. Thank you to everyone who has been part of the ride since 2008.
You may still spot some of our old bags out in the wild as we transition to the new look. But the next chapter is here, and we can’t wait for you to experience it.
