School is out and summer is here! We will have our first tournament of the season Saturday and Sunday (May 30 & 31). This is just a reminder that the parking lot will look intimidatingly full, but the clubhouse is usually very sparse for most of the day, especially lunch time. If you are worried we are too busy, feel free to call and ask 712-343-6979! Our kitchen will be open with normal hours. We still have our Brunch Burger special available, hope to see you soon!

Update on our hours for this month, we are adding Wednesdays to the mix. Open 11-8 for Wing Wednesday, we are offering $2 draws and 25% off wings!
Also this week, we will have our Crab Rangoon specialty pizza available. It's a popular special, come try it and let us know what you think!

It's graduation season, these next few Saturdays (May 2, May 9, and May 16) we have families hosting graduation parties from 3-6pm in the clubhouse. That means, our kitchen is still open at that time and you are welcome to place take out orders or to sit outside on the patio, we just won't have seating available inside the clubhouse during that time period. Golfers, you may still come in to pay green fees, rent carts, and grab some drinks.

Don't forget, we have our PBJ Burger special right now and if you haven't had one yet, you should come in and try it! Don't be scared, it's one of those combos that sound a bit odd, but it really comes together and the flavors work so well. Still not convinced? That's okay, you can play it safe with the rest of our menu filled with many made from scratch options. We hope to see you soon!

This Thursday (April 16) the kitchen opens back up for the golf season! Our hours will be:
Thursdays 11-8, Fridays 11-9, Saturdays 11-8, and Sundays 11-7 for the rest of the month.

We have had a few people ask recently if we are open in Atlantic yet and the answer is yes! Our hours there are Wednesdays through Saturdays 11-9 and Sundays 11-7!
The Flour Mill - Atlantic

The Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors were hosted by The Flour Mill on Thursday, January 29th. The Ambassadors joined the Morris family in celebrating the opening of their new location in downtown Atlantic.

During the visit, the Ambassadors learned about the journey that brought The Flour Mill to Atlantic. The Morris family originally operated a restaurant in Elk Horn, Iowa, for five years before Tyler decided to pursue his dream of coaching college basketball. The family spent several years traveling for coaching opportunities before deciding to return to the restaurant business and settle back in the area.

When the Morris family returned, they knew they wanted to be in Atlantic, but finding the right downtown space took time. While searching for a building that fit their vision, they operated out of the Avoca Golf Course until the perfect opportunity became available. The family ultimately purchased the former Aunt B’s and Bonnesen building, spending the last year and a half bringing new life to the space.

Renovations to the building were completed by Melissa’s parents, Tim and Kim Andersen, whose hard work transformed the space into a warm and inviting restaurant. The Flour Mill held a soft opening in mid-December 2025 and has been welcoming customers ever since.

The Flour Mill’s menu features homemade pizzas, oven-toasted subs, salads, appetizers, and more, with a unique Danish influence that reflects the family’s heritage. Menu highlights include a frikadeller sandwich and pizza, along with a variety of Danish baked goods displayed in the front case. All baked items are made in-house.

The Flour Mill is located at 408 Chestnut Street in downtown Atlantic and is open Wednesday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. For more information about The Flour Mill, visit their page at https://www.facebook.com/FlourMillAtlantic.
