Our Story
Store Owners: Jenny Partlow Last year my husband, Brock, and I purchased a building in downtown Avoca, Iowa. He remodeled the upper level and opened Power Alley Performance. I’m now in the process of remodeling the lower level, which will be Barley + Beans. The concept for this cafe came from my love of coffee and craft beer. There is not an establishment in the area that provides quality coffee and a variety of craft beer, so we are here to fill the gap! We look forward to serving all of you soon!
