Things we’ve learned this week:

Bluebird Grain Farms in the Methow Valley is unfairly photogenic, and their grains are just as impressive. Their farro is currently doing excellent work in our Tuna Farro Salad.

Pub regular Troy Dettman is apparently part fisherman, part fish whisperer, and part keeper of all the good spots. If you see him at the Pub, say hi — but don’t expect him to give up any fishy secrets.

And finally, no matter where we wander, we always end up missing the Pub. Apparently, a beautiful view can only distract us for so long - home is after all wherever the pub is.. 😉

What an incredible parade! A huge thank you to everyone who marched, volunteered, organized, decorated, and cheered from the sidelines. It takes an amazing community to put on a celebration like this, and you all knocked it out of the park.

We’re so proud of this island. Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and unforgettable Independence Day!
