Dear Friends of SuBI,

Our longtime chef Kim finished his last service with us at the end of August, and now after 17 wonderful years, Helen and I are stepping back from SuBI to spend more time with our families.

As of this month, SuBI is under new ownership, with Bob and Helen leading management, and a new sushi chef — also named Kim — now behind the sushi bar. We know it's a lot of change at once, and we wish we could have given you more notice. But we're really excited for what's ahead. The new team cares about this place just as much as we do, and they are completely committed to keeping up the high standards and quality you expect from us.

Helen and I will be sticking around for the next few weeks to help with the transition, so you'll likely still see us around before we fully step away.

Thank you for 17 incredible years! Being part of your celebrations, your regular nights out, and your lives has been the honor of ours.
