Our time has come to say goodbye. Our family opened Brooklyn’s BBQ in September 2016 with big hopes and dreams. Over the past eight years the community has supported us, and we have been honored to fulfill our dream of giving back to the community by working with so many nonprofits. We have been honored to cater so many special events as well as hosting celebrations in our restaurant. Brooklyn’s was named after our youngest daughter. Led by our patriarch, John Steeber, our entire family could be found working daily in the restaurant with Brooklyn running around chatting with customers. As many of you know, John was diagnosed with cancer in 2022 and although his battle has been fierce, this dreaded disease seems to be winning the battle against him. After much consideration, we have decided to close Brooklyn’s BBQ January 26th. We are grateful for the many people we met along our journey. We are thankful for the many employees who helped us achieve our dream on a daily basis. Many of our employees became honorary family members and we will never forget your efforts to help us succeed. We have made memories of a lifetime while serving great barbecue and we cannot thank you enough for the memories, the friendships and the experiences Brooklyn’s provided us. From the bottom of our hearts, we say – thanks for the memories and your patronage.
