Sometimes it’s the sweetest little details that make us stop and pause: soft baby buttercups and other lawn greens picked this weekend and headed to the compost soon, residing for now in a ceramic bud vase by (owner Madelyn’s mom) suspended from a green plastic thumbtack. Fleeting and simple gestures like this one are everywhere at the Lavender House if you stop to look. A testament to the hands and hearts that keep everything going and growing. 💜💜💜💜💜

Here’s to the moms, and also the grandmas who hold napping babes while moms do yard work. What can we say? We love them so much. Last year at this time Olivia hadn’t introduced herself yet. Now we have a better idea of what it means to be moms. Let us know if we can help you celebrate a mom in your life. (Especially if it’s you!)
