Good news, you sure can! Fresh lobster, lobster meat, and other solid seafood items are permitted in both carry-on and checked baggage.

🧊 Just remember: if you're using ice packs or loose ice to keep everything cold, they must be completely frozen when you go through the TSA checkpoint. If they've started to melt and contain liquid, they may not be allowed through screening.

Planning to travel with live lobsters? That's possible, too! Be sure to check with your airline for any packaging or size requirements before you head to the airport. Keep in mind- each airline has its own rules, and not all rules are universal, so check first to be sure your lobsters don't end up being wasted!
