Eagle Cafe

Eagle Cafe The Eagle Cafe is a small town cafe that has fed the Barnesville community since 1942!

The Eagle Cafe has been a staple of Main Street in Barnesville for as long as most residents can remember. In 1942 Tillie and Tudy Furst bought the Eagle Cafe, which stood where the Barnesville Post Office stands now. Tillie and Tudy build a reputation for serving up wonderful home-style food for 25 years until they closed the doors in 1967. In 1983, their son, Vernon "Speed" Desing, bought the ol

d Valley Lanes bowling alley building and along with his sons Chad, Mark, Seth and Seth's wife Julie opened the current version of the Eagle Cafe. In 1990 Seth and Julie bought the cafe and they're still serving up home-style food in the tradition of Tillie and Tudy. The Eagle Cafe is known far and wide for its generous portions and friendly small town service.
