A classic Canadian tradition transformed into one of Chrissy's incredible cake cheesecakes. If you've never tried Sugar Pie, Heritage Weekend is the perfect time!

Layers of chocolate cake, Oreo, cheesecake, and all the chocolatey goodness you could ask for!

Heritage Festival is always such a fun weekend in Barre, and this year I wanted to celebrate a little of my own heritage too.

I was born in Montreal, and this weekend we are spotlighting a very special grilled cheese...

And of course, we are serving it with a side of poutine! 🍟

Every summer, we get lucky.

Our college crew comes home, jumps right back in, works hard, laughs with us, keeps us young (most days 😉), and before we know it, it's time for them to head back to school and their next adventures.

In just a few short weeks, we will be saying "see you later" to Hallee, Ben (who's off to his first grown-up job 🎉but he will be here on Sunday), Bella C. , Bella P. (who surprised us with a return this summer ❤️), Eden and Ella.

If you've been meaning to stop in and see them, now's the time!

Come grab a grilled cheese, say hello, wish them luck, and help us send them off with lots of Meltdown love.

We're so proud of each of you. Thank you for spending part of your summer with us again.

We can't wait to see where life takes you and, of course, our door is always open when you come back home. 🖤💛

Today is a little different for me :)

For what feels like the first time in forever, I'm actually taking the day off to celebrate my birthday! 🎂

Don't worry though, my amazing team has everything under control, and The Meltdown is ready for another $10 Classic Grilled Cheese Monday! 😊

🧀 A classic grilled cheese served with our house-cut fries and your choice of coleslaw or a pickle for just $10!

🍁 And if you're looking for something a little different:

Our Meltdown Vermonter has been flying out the door!

Cabot cheddar, sliced turkey, crispy bacon, fresh Macintosh apples, and our house-made honey mustard maple drizzle made with local Graham Farms maple syrup on grilled La Panciata Sicilian bread.

🍰 We sold out of cheesecake this week. They were popular!

⏰ We're open today from 4pm–8pm!

🍁 Our Meltdown Vermonter has been flying out the door this week, and if you haven't tried it yet, today is a great day!

Grilled La Panciata Sicilian bread, Cabot cheddar, sliced turkey, crispy bacon, fresh Macintosh apples, and our house-made honey mustard maple drizzle made with local Graham Farms maple syrup.

Sweet, savory, and proudly Vermont. 🍁
