Important Message Regarding Our Staff!

We do not enjoy posting messages like this, but it has become necessary after an incident on Thursday night where an older gentleman yelled at one of our staff members.

We are currently understaffed, and our entire team is working to the point of exhaustion — many are already close to a breaking point. They are doing everything possible to serve our guests as quickly and professionally as they can.

We will not tolerate customers yelling at, berating, or disrespecting our staff. If you have a concern or complaint, please bring it to our attention calmly and respectfully. We genuinely want to hear feedback and will do our best to make things right.

What we WILL NOT accept is verbal abuse toward our team. Our staff has been instructed to politely ask any customer who behaves this way to leave. If others in the party are also involved, the entire group will be asked to leave and not return.

We are a small local business doing everything we can to survive and succeed.

We deeply value every respectful customer and every member of our hardworking team. But we WILL NOT allow anyone to verbally abuse our staff — especially not while they are already stretched to their limits.

Thank you to the vast majority of our guests who treat our team with the same respect they expect in return. We appreciate you.

A Note from the Owner

We are trying our best, but as many of you know, it’s been very difficult to find enough staff to cover all shifts right now.

Please know that our team is working extremely hard to take care of every guest.

They’re doing everything they can to deliver great food and great service, even when we get slammed. Our servers are paid a fair wage, but they do rely heavily on tips — and they truly earn them.

We’re especially busy during Taco Thursday, Friday Fish Fry, Second Chance Saturday, and special events. During these peak times, wait times can run longer and the occasional mistake can happen. When that occurs, we make it right — we always appreciate your patience and understanding.

We had an unfortunate incident on Friday where a customer became verbally upset with our staff. I will address that separately, but I want to be clear: we will not tolerate anyone treating our team disrespectfully.

Our staff is here working hard, often to the point of exhaustion, to make sure everyone has a good experience. They’re human, and they care deeply about getting it right.
Thank you for your continued support and for being part of the Timberland Bar & Grill family. We couldn’t do this without our amazing team — or without guests like you who understand the challenges small businesses are facing right now.

Does anyone in the area do mobile Tig welding? I’m looking to have the perimeter of this griddle welded between the griddle itself and the side shields. I’m looking for someone that can weld it onsite and in place because we’re not sure how we would get it out of the kitchen. If you are able to weld it please send me a PM with a ballpark price. Side note, they were in the middle of cooking so that’s why you see the hamburger grease on the griddle 😆.
