🍲 SOUP PREORDERS | WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 28

‼️ PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING! Things are a little different this week!

Unfortunately, Facebook is only allowing me to share links twice a month unless I pay $40/month for a Meta subscription, which isn’t happening. 😂

Since I can’t post our order form directly, if you’d like to order, you have a couple of options! You can comment below and I’ll message you the link, send our page a private message to request it, or simply comment with what you’d like to order and I can submit it for you! Whatever is easiest for everyone!

I’m still figuring out the best way to handle this going forward, so bear with me while I work out the kinks!

🍲 WE’RE SWITCHING THINGS UP AGAIN THIS WEEK WITH HOMEMADE VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP!

Made from scratch with tender roast beef, potatoes, vegetables, and a rich, flavorful broth.

$14 per quart — saltine crackers included.

Due to the more expensive ingredients in this week’s soup, pricing is slightly higher than last week.

📍 Pickup: Wednesday, October 28 | 5–6 PM at 755 Haus

⏰ Orders close Sunday, October 25, at 5 PM!

I’ll also be posting a schedule of upcoming soup nights and including a printed copy in each pickup bag! Hopefully, this will give everyone a more accurate idea of what’s coming up and when, making it a little easier to plan ahead.

P.S. Sorry for the novel! 😂 Thanks for sticking around, rolling with the changes, and continuing to support my little business. It means more than you know! 🤍

Lunch Special:::

Marinated pork chops with choice of two sides!

We also have homemade tomato soup with grilled cheese!

A little update....

We are currently short staffed, and we sincerely apologize for the unexpected, last minute closures lately.

Life happens, things come up, and we completely understand that. We're doing the very best we can with the staff we have, but we also recognize that everyone has lives outside of work. As much as we love what we do, none of us can be here seven days a week, and we don't expect that of our employees either.

What many people don't see is everything that goes on behind the scenes. Running a cafe is far from a one person job. Between food prep, cooking, cleaning, ordering, stocking, paperwork, and everything else in between, the work truly never ends. Even when the doors are closed, there's usually still plenty of work being done behind them.

!!!! For our kitchen to operate properly, efficiently, and provide the quality of food and service we expect, it requires at least two people!!!! It's simply not a one person operation, and as much as we'd love to be able to do it all, sometimes it's just not possible with the staff we have available.

Please know that these closures are just as frustrating for us as they are for you. We never want to inconvenience anyone, turn away business, or have to close our doors unexpectedly.

We're actively working on finding additional help so we can get back to a more consistent schedule. In the meantime, we're simply asking for a little patience, grace, and understanding.

We're a small business doing the best we can with what we have, and we appreciate every single person who continues to support us.

Thank you for sticking with us!

10/19/2026

As much as we hate to do it, we will be closed for breakfast tomorrow morning. However, we’ll be back in the kitchen and ready to serve lunch starting at 11:00 AM!

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We look forward to seeing everyone for lunch! ❤️

We’ve been tossing around some new ideas, and we’d love YOUR input!

With the response we’ve had to our homemade soups, we’ve been thinking about ways to offer more convenient, homemade meals for you and your families!

But before we make any decisions, we’d really love to know what everyone would actually enjoy!

🌞 Here are a few ideas we’ve been considering:

More Soup Nights! Would you rather see us stick with soups and offer two different varieties each week, possibly with pickup on two separate evenings?

Take & Bake Meals! Homemade casseroles, pasta dishes, and other family favorites that you can take home and bake whenever you’re ready.

Hot & Ready Family Meals! Think fried chicken with homemade sides, meatloaf dinners, and other comfort foods, ready to pick up and put straight on the dinner table!

A few other things we’re curious about:

Would you prefer smaller 8×8 pans, larger 9×13 family-size pans, or the option of both?

If we offered prepared meals, would you rather have them ready to eat or ready to bake at home?

What dishes would you love to see us offer?

I’ll be the first to admit, with it usually being just my husband and me, we don’t eat a whole lot of casseroles at home! So I’m honestly not sure which ones are the biggest family favorites or what everyone would enjoy most. That’s where I’m hoping you all can help!

We’re completely open to suggestions, whether that’s sticking with what we’ve been doing, expanding our soup options, or trying something entirely new!

Nothing is set in stone! We’re simply trying to figure out what would be most helpful and convenient for our customers.

So tell us, what would YOU be most likely to order? We genuinely appreciate your feedback and can’t wait to hear everyone’s ideas! 🫶

🍅 SOUP PREORDERS ARE OPEN! 🥣

A little change in our soup lineup! First, I want to apologize for skipping last week's preorders! Between my regular work schedule and everything going on outside of work, I managed to overbook myself a little more than I intended. Sometimes there just aren't enough hours in the day! 🤍

Since we skipped a week, I've decided to switch things around a bit! This week we're doing HOMEMADE CREAMY TOMATO SOUP with RUSTIC ARTISAN GRILLED CHEESE, and next week we'll be back with Zuppa Toscana!

This week's combination is one I'm especially excited about!

🍅 HOMEMADE CREAMY TOMATO SOUP — $12/quart

🧀 RUSTIC ARTISAN GRILLED CHEESE WITH MOZZARELLA & PARMESAN — $4.50 each

Rich, creamy, homemade tomato soup paired with buttery, golden, crispy artisan bread filled with melty mozzarella and Parmesan. The ultimate comfort food combination!

As always, the soup will be served chilled and ready to reheat at home. Grilled cheese sandwiches will be freshly prepared the evening of pickup!

📅 ORDERS CLOSE: Sunday, October 18 at 5 PM
📍 PICKUP: Wednesday, October 21 | 5–6 PM at 755 Haus

✨ WE'RE TRYING SOMETHING NEW!

In an effort to simplify the ordering process and make things a little easier to manage on my end, we're going to try using Google Forms for our weekly soup preorders!

With the number of orders we've been receiving, keeping track of comments, messages, payments, and quantities has become quite the task! I'm hoping this will help keep everything in one place and make the process smoother for everyone.

If you're not familiar with Google Forms or would rather not use it, please don't hesitate to send me a message! I'll be more than happy to enter your order for you! ❤️

💰 PAYMENT OPTIONS: Venmo, cash, or invoice.

Venmo:

Venmo payments must be sent by Monday at 5 PM to confirm your order. I will not be sending Venmo requests, so please be sure to send your payment directly!

Cash can be paid at pickup, and invoices will be sent separately.

Thank you all for being so patient, understanding, and supportive of our little café! These soup weeks have grown into something bigger than I anticipated, and I'm incredibly grateful for every single order. I'm just trying to find ways to make everything run a little more smoothly so I can keep doing them! ❤️
