A LITTLE INTRODUCTION, A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT & A NEW CHAPTER 🤎🐎
Hi everyone, old followers and new!
For those who may not know me, my name is Rhianna! I’m a 20-year-old full-time college student at Louisiana State University (LSU), a Louisiana National Guard soldier, and the owner and founder of Saddle & Sip Café.
I started Saddle & Sip with a vision to bring something a little different to the café scene. I wanted to create a space that challenged the traditional café experience through extended hours, unique storefront concepts, a western-inspired atmosphere, and a place where people could come together and enjoy something different.
What started as an idea has grown into something I am incredibly proud of, and I couldn’t have done it without every customer, vendor, event organizer, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
Now, for a little life update!
In less than four months, I’ll be leaving for Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training (AIT) with the Louisiana National Guard. My ship-out date is February 28, 2027, and I anticipate returning around August or September 2027.
With that being said, I’m currently planning a temporary pause on in-person operations while I’m away. Although Saddle & Sip won’t be attending markets or hosting pop-ups during that time, I plan to keep our social media pages active with scheduled content, updates, memories, and a few surprises along the way.
During Basic Combat Training, my access to my phone will be very limited. I’ll have a little more access during AIT, but in-person events will remain paused until I return.
I’m also considering putting together a Welcome Home Event when I return, hopefully bringing together other local vendors for a celebration and a fresh start for Saddle & Sip!
I know I’ll miss the markets, the conversations, the customers, and all the little moments that come with running this business. But this is also an opportunity for me to grow personally, professionally, and as a business owner.
Between now and February 28th, I plan to make every event, every pop-up, and every opportunity count.
Thank you for supporting me, believing in my vision, and being part of this journey. Saddle & Sip is so much more than a café to me, and I cannot wait for you to see what’s in store when I return.
This isn’t goodbye. It’s just a little intermission.
