When we opened ABC Brewing, we were the same three small-town Minnesota boys who had dreamt of a place like this. Today, we’re devoted to being a staple in the Lakes community for craft beer and pizza that everyone can enjoy. Beyond the quality in our food and the drinkability of our beer menu, we consider quality in each customer experience, as well. That’s why we offer a spacious indoor bar, pat

io, and plenty of outdoor activities and additional seating made for a true community. That's why we donate a percentage of our canned beer sales to local schools for scholarships. No matter the size or occasion of your next visit, we know one thing's certain: you’ll have the service, the space, and a wood-fired slice to enjoy it all with. Our Story

Three of us “buds” got together in March 2017 and tasted Justin’s dark “Risbrudt” porter. We decided that it was the best beer we had tasted and prompted Justin to start making more beer. Every beer he made was a home run. So how do we get it out there in the mix of other microbreweries? Both Mike and Greg grew up in Ashby and feel strong ties to the community and saw these things to offer: 1. People all pulling together to see a little town in rural America survive 2. Microbreweries = marketability so lets promote our beers to promote our town To this end, we have purchased the old lumber yard office as our brewery, purchased a 2.5 barrel system for brewing, and use the company of MaltWerks in Detroit Lakes, (50 miles away) to promote local ingredients and a "farm to foam" approach to our beers. To come up with a marketing plan for our brews, we decided to showcase the local folklores of our community or what we are calling "Ashby Sagas". Each Beer has a local story behind it and we encourage you to read, visit, and drink what we believe is good Minnesota Beer tied with good Minnesota community values and good Minnesota stories. We hope you like our beer, like our philosophy, and invite you to come up and spend time in our little town and brewery. NEW ADDITIONAL LOCATION
