We didn't plan to fall behind with our weekly menus as we worked through a busy time of the year; however, we're dusting ourselves off and are getting back on track.

We kept this week's menu light, especially since the heat wave is moving in from the west and who wants to turn on the oven?!? You may not know that you can bake/heat our meals in a toaster oven or air fryer to avoid heating up your home.

As Baxter's big weekend wraps up, we wanted to take a moment & express our gratitude to the following:

- the Baxter Bolts high school & middle school softball & Baxter Bolts Baseball teams for allowing us to serve you during your home games

- the Baxter Fun Days committee for all the hard work they did to organize a fun weekend for the town & surrounding area

- the Hillbilly Bike Ride organizers for everything they did, including last minute changes with trail closures, to bring a fun event to our town

- Amanda Moorman who made trail signs to promote our local groups & businesses

- Natalie Finch Moorman for placing the signs on the bike trail

- Java Java on Main for asking us to make breakfast burritos, steak burritos, wraps & chicken parmesan sliders for their customers

- Station Street Cycle Shop for your ongoing support of our ice cream & meals

- Baxter Church of The Way for giving out our gift cards as prizes

- Baxter Country Store for donating straws & ensuring we had ice for the weekend

- The Hideout team members who work hard, but always have big smiles

- Last...but especially not least...everyone of you who stopped by during Fun Days and every other day of the year. We couldn't continue to do what we do without your support!
