Sunday Sermon Share ☕️🙏

Can I be honest with y’all this morning?

Somewhere along the way we started believing that busy = blessed.

That if we’re not producing, posting, hustling, growing — we’re falling behind.
FOMO isn’t just about missing the party anymore. It’s about missing the next milestone, the next win, the next thing it feels like everyone else is chasing.

But here’s what I keep coming back to — a conversation with Pastor Ben right here in the coffee shop. He simply asked me: “Are you resting? One day out of the week?”

That question sat with me longer than I expected it to. Because if I’m honest, the answer was no. I was so busy chasing the next thing that I’d forgotten rest wasn’t optional — it was a command.

Showing up in nature with God — no agenda, no to-do list, just you and His creation — has a way of resetting your why. It reminds you that you were never meant to run on empty chasing everyone else’s pace. You were made for rest too.

So today, wherever you are — maybe it’s a walk outside, maybe it’s just sitting still with your coffee — let it be enough. You don’t have to earn your worth by staying busy.

You already have it.

🎪 Jasper County Fair Season is Here! 🎪

There’s something about fair season that just feels like home. The Jasper County Fair in Colfax - community, agriculture, and family tradition right here in our county.

From 4-H and FFA kids showing off a year’s worth of hard work, the animal barns and that big hometown parade rolling through downtown Colfax — this fair is Jasper County at its best.

Grab a coffee for the road (we’ve got you covered ☕) and go cheer on our local kids, browse the exhibits, and soak up some good old-fashioned community spirit.

Quick heads up, friends — we’re open 7-11 am today.

And we have our breakfast burritos ( from The Hideout) are warm and ready to go — perfect fuel whether you’re headed out to the fair, running errands, or just need a good start to your day here with us. 🌯

✨ A Little Announcement… ✨

Over the years, dance has held a special place in my heart. This fall, I’m excited to bring a little of that joy back to our community in a new way.

Beginning this September, we’ll be offering Recreational Dance Programming through December, with a tentative holiday performance on Sunday, December 6.

This program is designed with one goal in mind: fun! 💛

Our focus is on movement, creativity, confidence, and learning in a welcoming environment for everyone.

****We are not operating as a competitive dance studio and will not be offering technique-intensive or competition classes.

Instead, this is a “relaxed”, recreational program where children can explore dance, make friends, and enjoy being active.

Tentative class offerings include:
🩰 Ballet/Jazz Combo
🎵 Hip Hop
🤸‍♀️ P o s s I b l y Tumbling 🤸‍♀️

If this sounds like a great fit for your family, registration will take place July 29 from 5:30–7:30 PM.
