Carissa and her dance friends are putting a wonderful Benefit Show in order to support a great charity called Circle of Hope: Dancers Against Cancer who provide financial support to dancers and their families who are battling cancer.

We are getting ready for our 5th Annual Christmas Blessings Celebration where we share GOD's Love with orphaned children living in foster care, group homes, shelters, and orphanages.

We are in the need of some prayer warriors. Please pray that GOD will send another great army of Christmas Angels to make this event happen, and that each Christmas Child will have his/her own Christmas Angel. And that nothing and no one will get in the way of bringing this event together.

I was recently asked....

I was recently asked...and now I'm asking you all....
Why is the 30 Days of Thanksgiving important to you?

Is this just some sort of religious ritual, or is there something more to it?

If you are uncertain why it is important, that is okay. I want to encourage you to stick with it to see what the LORD will grow out of a faithful and grateful dedication and desire to set apart this time to give Him thanks & praise for how He has and is blessing you, and your loved ones.

30 Days of Thanksgiving -- Day 9

What does this fantastic Scripture mean to you, and how do you apply it to your life?

Do you know someone who is weary? Are you that someone who is weary? Please beloved do not take it personal. These are troubled and uncertain times, and our enemy brings on his strongest attacks when we are our weakest point. He is a cowardly beast.


Beloved, you are not alone. There is an army of angels who fight with you and for you. In our fight with the enemy when we have been knocked down, when we are barely crawling, our spirit is lifted in the knowledge that the joy of the LORD, the love of the LORD, His Love for us is our strength. When we do not know if we will win this battle, know that we are destined to win the war even when the circumstances and outcomes of what we are going through are unknown & uncertain.

We can be certain of one thing that remains constant and that is GOD's Love for us. He is here for us. He is with us.

Our daughter Carissa is the kid founder of our Kids4Kids Super Hero Program where kids help other kids in need who live across town, across the nation, and across the world.

This week's mission is to make hand-crafted Compassion Cards for children living in a homeless shelter. The Challenge for us was to gather the art supplies needed to complete our mission.

This Monday I gathered my personal stock of art supplies, yet I had zero card stock for the children to make their Compassion Cards. On Tuesday I attended my first Monthly Card Club at Collective Journey which consisted of talented artists that make hand-crafted cards. I introduced myself to the ladies and told them about how we are making hand-crafted cards for women & children living in homeless shelters, and that I was here to learn from them. Not only was I inspired by new great ideas for hand-crafted cards, but one of the ladies blessed me with more than enough card stock that is already cut and ready for our kid Super Heros to decorate and turn into Compassion Cards. Not only did this angel bring us card stock, but she also gave us stickers, and another angel gave us ink pads, and a couple of rubber stamps. Today Carissa's teacher gave me some color paper for the children to use with our assorted decorative figure punches.

If GOD tells you to do something for Him -- just do it! Do your best, and GOD will do the rest. Even if you have no resources GOD has unlimited resources that arrive in unforeseen ways.

Well I got to go and get ready for tomorrow's Compassion Card art project. I will post pictures of the kiddos Compassion Cards as soon as I can.

If you are looking for a great movie to rent that the whole family can enjoy check out "Big Miracle"! LOVE this movie. This movie is based on true events, and the message it brings is such a blessing for everyone. This movie shows what we can accomplish when we all work together. It truly is a must see, and through RedBox you can rent it for little over a dollar! There is a very sad part regarding one of the whales, so know what your little ones can handle since each child's maturity level is different.
