☕️ Why the Mommee Fridge? 🤍

I get asked about the fridge a lot, so I figured I'd explain!
The Mommee Fridge is a contactless pickup fridge right by my front door. You simply grab your order and go!

I'll be honest—it has had a couple hiccups (yes... people have stolen from it 😅), but overall it has been one of the best decisions I've made for my business.
Here's why:

🤍 I don't like making people wait.
If you're running a few minutes behind or one of my baby’s need me, your drink is already waiting for you instead of waiting on me to be able to break free.

🤍 I'm usually in full "mom mode." Most days I'm covered in milk, wearing yesterday's T-shirt, my hair is doing whatever it wants, and I'm juggling two little ones while making coffee. 😂

🤍 Most importantly... Yasser. He has very intense separation anxiety. When I walk outside, he gets extremely upset. As he's gotten older—and now that Lulu is old enough to notice everything too—I realized I didn't want to keep asking them to handle that several times a day.

I used to push through it because I wanted to chat with everyone, and I know for some people those few minutes of conversation might be the only adult interaction they get all day. I truly appreciate every single person who supports Mommee Coffee, and I never want anyone to think I'm avoiding them.
The fridge simply lets me be the mom my babies need while still serving the community I love.

So if you pull up and don't see me, please don't take it personally. I'm probably inside making another latte, chasing a toddler, holding a baby... or all three at once. 😂
Thank you for understanding, for supporting a home-based business, and for helping me build something that works for both my family and our little coffee community. Y'all are the reason Mommee Coffee gets to exist. 🤍☕️

Y’all cleaned me OUT again 😅 and I’m officially out of horchata until tomorrow!
Mommee’s horchata is 100% homemade the traditional overnight way (rice, cinnamon, soak overnight, blend, strain, and all the good stuff), and honestly… it was WAY too hot last night for my brain to even think about starting a batch 🫠☀️
But don’t worry — I’ll be making a fresh batch tonight and horchata will be back tomorrow! 🙌

Thank y'all so much for your patience while we got everything figured out. I was honestly blown away by the kindness this community showed.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who reached out, offered advice, offered to help fix it, and even offered your homes so me and Babbee Coffees could keep cool while we worked through everything. 🥹 That kind of support means more than you'll ever know.
Owning a small business definitely comes with unexpected hiccups, but having a community like y'all makes the hard days a whole lot easier. ❤️

Mommee Coffee's A/C said, "I'm done being an adult." 🫠☀️
It's hotter than a fresh espresso shot in here, so Mommee will be closed until we can get things cooled down. We love y'all, but we're not trying to serve iced lattes while we melt into puddles. 🥵🧊
Cross your fingers for us that it's an easy (and cheap 😭) fix! We'll keep everyone updated as soon as Mommee is back in business.
