So this first photo was shared in some of my baking community groups and it reminded me of something I get asked about a lot. The conversation with new/potential clients usually goes "my child loves the ones at Starbucks, can you make them just like theirs?"

My answer is....no. No, I don't make mine just like theirs for many reasons. First, the company that makes the cake pops for SB mass produces them and puts in so many additives and preservatives to lengthen their life that it just makes me cringe. The company put out an article how they make them and when they send them out and it may shock you to know that by time you buy one in the coffee shop, its been made at least TWO months before you eat it. Now I know many cake poppers that premake and freeze their pops, but usually never that long ahead and surely don't have a bunch of preservatives in them. For me, mine are made fresh no more than the day before they get into your hands.

Second, good for the company for finding a shape that can work for so many designs. The same one here is also their shape for an owl, tiger, bee, and a few others. There's not the same love, time and dedication into making these edible pieces of art.

So I ask you, do you still want them made the same way?

I have found the original ingredients that I had been using to make the iconic and fast selling Cherry Chip flavor (seriously y'all it sells out so fast whenever I have it available). However, since the original ingredients were discontinued I had made my own version which is good, but not the exact same. So the question is, if i were to buy up the bulk option for the Cherry Chip flavor how many would be interested in ordering some?

It's at a much higher price tag on my end since its such a limited item now, so need to see if there's a want for it before I take the plunge. Drop your response below!

Yes I did actually buy this doll toy truck for business reasons! Why you may ask? Because over the summer I'm gonna glam it up and personalize it into a cute, designated pickup station for pickup orders! Not only that, in the fall I hope to start offering open flash sales where you can stop by and pickup treats at your convenience!

But obviously my youngest has to test the durability first with some play time. 🥰
