As June comes to a close, the Pride flags don’t stop flying in our hearts.

This month has been filled with celebrations, conversations, laughter, and so many beautiful moments spent alongside our LGBTQI+ community. We’re incredibly grateful to have shared this month with all of you and to have supported organizations and events that continue making Beaverton a place where everyone belongs.

But Pride has never been just one month.

For us, June is a chance to recharge, reconnect, and celebrate loudly—but our commitment to creating welcoming, affirming spaces continues every day of the year. The LGBTQI+ community is an essential part of what makes Beaverton so vibrant, creative, resilient, and full of joy. We are better because of the people who make up this community.

One of the things we love most about Beaverton is how many individuals, businesses, organizations, and neighbors share the same goal: building a community where everyone is seen, respected, and celebrated.

Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of that story.

🌈 Pride is here, and we’re celebrating the countdown to Pride in Beaverton with a colorful way to support our friends at Pride Beaverton! 🌈

Starting Tuesday, June 23, you can get your hands on our limited-edition color-changing Pride Cups that transform with cold drinks (even the straws change color too!).

✨ Two ways to participate: 🥤 $10 “You-Call-It” — order your favorite drink, your way, served in a Pride Cup with lid and color-changing straw. 🌈 Cup Only — purchase the cup, lid, and straw for just $5.

Every cup sold helps support Pride Beaverton and the incredible work they do to create connection, celebration, and belonging throughout our community.

These cups are perfect for all your favorite iced coffee, tea, matcha, and summer drink adventures. Quantities are limited, and our goal is to sell out before Pride weekend, so don’t wait too long!

This spring, we partnered with the incredible team at Matcha Freak to launch a matcha program we’re genuinely proud of—and now we get to share it through the eyes of the next generation of creators. 💚🍵

This reel was produced by students from Beaverton High School as part of a class project, and honestly… they crushed it. The colors, the energy, the details, the vibes—it’s everything we hoped our matcha menu could feel like.

Take a moment to enjoy the visuals, the flavors, and the creativity on display. And while you’re watching, keep your eyes peeled for a few Easter eggs 👀✨

Let’s just say this wasn’t the only project they’ve been working on with us… and we can’t wait to share what’s coming next.

Hi y’all — my name is Ben, and I’m the owner of Lionheart Coffee Company here in Beaverton, Oregon ☕️

I’ve proudly been part of the coffee industry since 2004, and since 2015, I’ve had the incredible honor of serving this community through Lionheart Coffee Company — now with two locations here in Beaverton.

My biggest passion has always been creating spaces that feel welcoming, safe, and positive for any and all who walk through our doors. Coffee has always been about so much more than coffee to me — it’s about people, connection, community, and creating moments that matter.

One of the things I’m most proud of throughout this journey is the opportunity to hire, train, mentor, and support so many incredible employees over the years. Past and present, Lionheart simply would not be what it is without the amazing people who pour their hearts into this business every single day.

When it comes to what I’m drinking? My favorite is usually a pour over from one of our incredible guest roasters… but when I’m in the middle of the hustle on bar, it’s almost always a cup of Lionheart Blend drip coffee keeping me going.

To every regular, every first-time guest, every friend, family member, supporter, and anyone who has cheered us on from near or far — thank you. Truly. I don’t take a single day of this journey for granted.

And this current team? Absolutely incredible. Honestly one of the strongest teams we’ve ever had, and I’m so excited for what the rest of this year (and beyond) will bring through their talent, care, and hospitality.

May at Lionheart means celebrating one of our favorite roasters and one of our favorite humans. ☕️❤️

This month we are proud to feature as our May Guest Roaster!

Many of you may already know SCP through our every day Lionheart Espresso Blend — the espresso that has become such a staple for our shops and for so many folks in Beaverton. What makes this relationship even more special is that Sunday Coffee Project is the passion project of our very own Aaron, who has been building and roasting under the SCP name for over 4 years now.

Watching Aaron continue to grow as a roaster while also being such an important part of our team has been incredibly inspiring. His coffees are thoughtful, intentional, approachable, and always rooted in hospitality and connection — values that deeply align with what Lionheart is all about.

This month we are excited to not only continue serving our beloved Lionheart Espresso Blend roasted by SCP, but also share more of Aaron’s incredible single origin offerings with y’all throughout May.

We hope you’ll take a moment to slow down, enjoy a pour over, ask questions, and celebrate local coffee craftsmanship with us this month.

The love you’ve shown our new matcha menu has been incredible. We’ve loved hearing how many of you already knew and adored our friends at long before this launch. That makes this collaboration feel even more special.
