When we started this food trailer we had no idea where it would end up. I just knew that it was something I had thought about but never had the courage to just jump in and give it a try. If it hadn’t been for my wife I don’t know that I would have ever had the courage, but somehow she talked me i to giving it a try. It wasn’t easy starting out and there were bumps in the road but she stood beside me and has been my biggest fan. We setup this weekend at the Fountain Run BBQ Festival along with six local food trailers just thinking it was a festival, not knowing that there was a peoples choice award and competition for sauces until we got here. Dad's BBQ & Catering won peoples choice award and got 2nd place in hot sauce. Proud moment and couldn’t have managed it without some great help, Linda Akridge, Brenda James, Kenny Fast and of course my wife Kim Decker. Thank you to our loyal customers for making our dream come true!!!
