This week’s specials are up, and we’ve got a little bit of everything going on over here.

We’ve got a BBQuban Burger with honey mustard, pickles, Swiss, ham, and fries. A Tuna Melt with tomato and American cheese. An Egg Salad Sandwich on toast. A big ol’ Gyro Salad with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, sweet peppers, feta, your choice of protein, and pita wedges.

Sometimes people remind you why small places matter.

Today, a man walked into DeDi’s carrying a big Amazon box. We thought he was making a delivery.

Turns out, he wasn’t.

He said he liked the food here, wanted to see us stay in business, and noticed our little OPEN sign was hard to see from the road. Then he handed us a bigger one.

No fuss. No name. Didn’t want attention. Just said it was a gift and slipped out before we could make too big a deal of it.

So we hung it up.

And wouldn’t you know it — a couple orders came in almost right away.

To whoever you are: thank you. Truly.

You didn’t just give us a sign. You gave us one of those little reminders that people are paying attention, people care, and sometimes community shows up carrying an Amazon box.

6 oz. house smoked turkey, sliced in house, stacked on grilled rye with swiss, 1000 island, and your choice of slaw or kraut. Served w/ fries.
