This is who I am.
Hi, I’m Oscar — the owner of COF&.
What started as a simple idea to share coffee from my culture, from Colombia, slowly became something much deeper.
This place became my passion… and my way of becoming part of this community in Bellingham.
Through this café, I’ve met people, listened to stories, shared my own, and found something I didn’t expect — connection.
I show up for my customers, and somehow, they show up for me too.
There are moments when running a business feels like it’s all about numbers. And when those numbers aren’t enough, you start questioning everything.
But small businesses aren’t built on numbers alone.
They’re built on passion.
On dreams.
On the quiet decision to keep going — even when logic says otherwise.
That’s the difference. Behind a small business, there’s a person… a family… holding on to something they believe in. Not just chasing results, but building something meaningful, one day at a time.
Even when the results aren’t perfect, we keep moving forward — sometimes irrationally, guided only by faith and persistence.
And that’s why I’m so grateful for Bellingham.
This community supports small businesses in a way that feels real.
You can feel it.
You can see it.
Without that support, this journey wouldn’t be possible.
Sometimes, I even feel like what I do isn’t enough compared to all the support I receive… but I keep showing up, doing my best, every day.
Today, I didn’t want to talk about coffee.
I just wanted to share something personal.
Because behind this space, there’s a story. And I believe people care about the story as much as they care about the place.
Thanks Bellingham
