My husbands voice at the very end is the paid actor 🤣

But seriously I still have to pinch myself when I think about selling SIX of these in my very first pop up!

I didn’t even think I would sell one. And when people picked them up they were giving me their names for next months preorder already.

I am so grateful for the opportunity to bake for y’all and create a memorable monthly experience here in Fort Worth! 💓

Your local community is truly the magic ✨

After opening day .joyful.dough it became so clear that despite all the business gurus online saying that the only way to grow a big successful business is online there is truly magic in the community right outside your door 💓

I am still floating in cloud 9 from all the conversations I had with my neighbors and starting to meet my community!

The real origin story of .joyful.dough 🤗

I went back to work after having my second baby & struggled to figure out life with two babies and working full time.

My mind was always racing with everything to do & honestly everything I was failing at.

It led to so much anxiety.

And one day I remember telling my husband through tears “ I don’t even think I remember what makes me feel joy anymore”

So I starting thinking about that further.

And at the start of the year I vowed it would be the year of JOY!

Baking for my neighbors, friends & family during the holidays is one of my favorite things to do so I thought what if I expanded that a bit further & met more people in my community in the process.

Thats where this lil porch bakery was born. Out of the depths of postpartum to bring joy not only to my life but hopefully my community as well!
