Meet Jake and Meredith, the new owners of Lemon Tree! 👋

We’re husband and wife, chefs, and parents who are grateful to call Bend home. We met while working at the Oxford Hotel, and the chance to spend more time together in the kitchen was a big part of what drew us to this next chapter.

Our love of cooking started long before we met, with both of us learning from our Italian grandmothers. Both graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, Jake’s experience includes Chez Panisse, Bos Ta**us, Roam, and Monkless, while Meredith’s career has taken her from Mercer Kitchen in New York City to Cow Pig Bun on Maui and Chow here in Bend. Now, we get to bring those experiences to a place that already means so much to so many.

We’re grateful to Mac, Betsy, and Jackie for what they built and for the opportunity to carry on Lemon Tree’s legacy. Taking good care of this restaurant, our team, and the guests who make it special means everything to us.

Our go-to orders? Shakshuka and a Jealous Mary for Jake, and the Avocado Hash Smash with a mimosa for Meredith.
