Our Story

Local and home-grown business takes the plunge as owner and operator, Tiffany Libby, floats the sweet idea of treats on the river. Tiffany was born and raised in Bend, Oregon loving every bit of it. She has been inspired by the local creativity, beauty, recreation and ingenuity. During one beautiful spring day in early 2015 she thought of how the blissful combination of these ingredient

s would bring one more thing for the community to love. The Barge combines the best of Bend into one sweet afternoon- local, organic and natural artisan treats combined with family, friends, recreation, nature and swimsuits. Join us in this happy accident on a float down the beautiful Deschutes River in the heart of Bend. Menu

The Barge boasts of local flavor and organic and natural options, including gluten free and diary free choices in bars and ice cream sandwiches! Also, stay tuned for vegan/gluten free ice cream combo coming soon! Show off your city and support local! Payment

Bring cash or bring your card (which is water resistant!). In the future we will set-up online pre-pay for your convenience! Access

For your convenience we have created a floating rope on the left side of the river just after the Dog Park next to Riverbend Park. The floating rope connects to The Barge and it is off of the River’s main flow of traffic so you can easily and safely line up for some sweetness. No need to barge your way in, simply come line up for a tasty treat! A Culture of Stewardship

Tiffany has lived with the conviction, “leave it better than how you found it”. She passes this mission onto her children; who you can often find picking up trash in the parking lots or in stores; and onto her river. The Barge shows love to the Deschutes with offering treats with little to no packaging needed to take down the river. Our Ice Cream Sandwiches you can grab and go! Leave the wrapper with us! Other items such as our Organic Fruit Bars have biodegradable sticks that you can dispose of at the take out. Some treats, such as our gelato, have attached a complimentary ziplok bag on a rubber band to put onto your wrist or onto your float until you reach take out. Please join us in loving our natural resource by properly disposing of your trash down the river..and maybe picking up a little extra than there was before.
