Foster Farm at Two Feathers

Foster Farm at Two Feathers Organic heirloom fruit and vegetables passionately grown with love. Tomatoes, green beans, spinach and lettuce were first up.

What started as a basic mistrust of commercially grown food, we set up our first two greenhouses and began growing supplemental crops for our diet. The second year we expanded behind the greenhouses and included heirloom varieties of strawberries, raspberries and planted 3 kinds of potatoes. Wanting even more, in 2013 we added approximately 8000 sq feet more garden space. This allowed us to plant

an additional 11 boxes of vegetables, 15 fruit trees, 8 blueberry bushes, black berry and boysenberry bushes. At Foster Farm, we now grow nearly all of our annual food requirements including our own wheat. Our annual food purchases are now less than $500 and at this point is only dairy products (we have NOT decided on a cow just yet ). This winter, we are determined to grow lettuce and root vegetables through the winter and hope to make any surplus available to those on this page as it is available. Imagine a bag of organic lettuce lasting 4 weeks in your refrigerator in January!!! It is fresh and tastes nothing like the commercially produced products offered in the store that has been trucked in from hundreds or thousands of miles away. Local, organic, sustainable vegetables grown with Cascade mountain deep well water, essential nutrients and love.
