This crew showed up in costume, in the rain, and still made every plate from scratch. They earned a fun Halloween night.

So tomorrow, Sunday, November 1, we’re opening one hour late. Doors and drive-thru open at 7am.

Clocks fall back tonight too, so everybody gets a little extra sleep. Us included.

Something’s brewing.

Hay Jay started as a little Midtown drive-thru back in 2017. Now we’re coming home.

Hay Jay Coffee and Cocktails is opening at 38th and Dodge. Coffee by day, cocktails by night, same scratch-made heart.

We’ve been playing in the kitchen again.

House-made biscuit, fried egg, melty cheese and our scratch-made bacon jam. Sweet, smoky, a little salty.

Hazel Wednesday

Halloween 2019 came and went without a costume. She was only a couple months old and it was too cold to take her out.

So 2020 was her first real Halloween, and we made it count. Two unicorns, two pumpkin buckets, one very happy little sister.
