It is with heavy hearts and much gratitude that we announce that we have sold our Dairy Queen and today the new owners will officially take over operations. After 54 wonderful years serving this special community our family would like to thank the most loyal, faithful and friendly customers that any business owners could ever ask for! It has been our blessing to serve you! While other similar businesses have struggled through economic ups and downs, employee shortages and the Covid pandemic our business flourished thanks to our community and your continued patronage! But none of it would have been possible without our amazing family of DQ employees, past and present that made even the most stressful of times worth every minute and we will deeply miss those times spent with you! A million tears have been shed these last few weeks because so many of our employees are more like family to us and so many customers more like friends and know that this difficult decision will not change that for us.
We believe that we are passing the business into good hands, I believe you will find the new owners warm, friendly, caring people. Our hope is that you will welcome their family into this community and give them the chance to earn your business like you gave our family that chance 54 years ago. Please be patient, all transitions like this come with hiccups, but they are experienced DQ operators and they will work hard to make the transition as smooth as possible. Although our family members and managers will no longer be involved in the business, not a single employee has been dismissed or demoted, they have all been asked to stay and to continue to serve you!
